SCHILLER adds Child Adapter to FRED PA-1 Defibrillator for Improved Paediatric Care

There is an increasing demand in the public access tenders for the ability to use the same electrodes on an adult or a child patient.

This demand also implies to adapt the energy for a child patient, even if it is not always clearly specified in the tenders. 

To meet this demand for FRED® PA-1, we have developed a child pads adapter which allows adult pads to be connected and have them recognized as child pads.

The child pads adapter is reusable and must be attached to the device together with its instructions.

The adapter is an accessory to be ordered separately from the device. It can also be added to all devices already in the field.
